[Release] Rock Your Phone
Rock Your Phone, which we mentioned in an earlier post, has finally been released. Rock Your Phone includes their own jailbreak (what they like to call ‘soft unlock’) utility as part of the process. The jailbreak method is similar to Pwnage Tool which we are all familiar with.
The drawback to using Rock My Phone is that you have to go through their jailbreak method to get the mobile app. Not to worry though, Rock My Phone runs side by side with Cydia and the AppStore.
So far there are five applications that have been released through Rock My Phone:
- Vonagent - $9.99 USD
- IntelliScreen - $9.99 USD
- Elert - Free
- Intelli Dial $2.99 USD
- MyProfiles - $12.99 USD
The Rock My Phone store is nice because it allows a 10 day trial period on all applications before you decide to buy. Also they accept payment through PayPal as well as all major credit cards. Rock My Phone is not an alternative to Cydia as they do not intend to host free apps, rather focus on commercial apps.
Cydia may have some competition however long time jailbreakers will most likely continue to support Saurik and his countless contributions to the community.
