Apple Chomping Into The Flash Memory Market
So we are all pretty certain that there will be a new iPhone in June. Apple is grabbing up mass amounts of flash memory, leaving other companies straggling. Companies like SanDisk and Samsung are feeling the pain. In a recent report it was noted that Samsung is sold out of flash memory until April 2009!
So what does this all mean?
First guess- Apple will allow to add flash memory to the new iphone allowing up to 32GB+ of storage.
Second guess- Apple could be coming out with a digital camera. They have already tapped into the phone, music, and computer industry, so why not cameras? They could do something that incorporates the touch savvy features of the iPhone and allow for memory to be inserted into it.
These are just assumptions but either way, look forward to Apple releasing some kind of product with flash memory :-)
